Ahhhh Jack, how I love thy wit. Jack is the only cast member of English descent, and inherited the British tendency for absurdist humor, especially in tight spaces. It's worth noting at this stage that Hero in Training does not take place in a natively English speaking country- the characters all speak a sort of pidgin of various European languages, since most of them are immigrants or foreigners. Naturally this would be a pain in the ass to try and show effectively, so I just write the thing in English and have done. This leads to some slightly strange comments later on, but it's not a big issue for now. [less]
